A Quick & Easy Kombucha Daiquiri
Despite it’s polarizing reputation, I’ve always been a kombucha lover at heart. Sure, the idea of fermented tea is pretty funky, but kombucha has so many incredible benefits that it’s totally worth drinking on a regular basis. Kombucha has been known for many things (aiding in digestion, immune support, detoxification, liver support and even weight loss) but cocktails hasn’t always been one of them until more recently. After taste testing a few of our own, we decided to spice things up with this surprisingly delicious daiquiri, made with a few of my favorite bar cart ingredients!
How to make your own:
– Combine 1½ ounces Plantation with 1 ounce kombucha (I used this delicious Clearly Kombucha Asian Pear version, but any citrusy flavor will do!) and another ½ ounce honey syrup (mix equal parts honey and hot water).
-Take a half shaker of ice, shake the drink and strain into a coupe or martini glass.
– Garnish your daiquiri with a swatch of lemon, twisted on the top of the glass.
* Add a teaspoon of simple syrup if you enjoy your cocktails a little less tart!
And voila! You have the perfect, delicious fall cocktail to enjoy with the added health benefits of kombucha (it’s basically like drinking a salad, right?!)
